Spring Break

Taking Spring Break as an adult is so different than it was when I was a teen or in my early 20s… Instead of heading to the nearest beach I take time to get in a mini trip in to see family. ✈️ This season of my life is so busy that it’s really not feasible to take more than 3 days to go anywhere, so when I get the opportunity we want nothing more than to spend quality time with family or friends. Last week I finally got the chance to meet my sweet new niece and have dinner at a favorite restaurant and just enjoy the city.

[Rittenhouse Rye is my new favorite whiskey – it’s like drinking everything enchanting about a spice market!]

[I’m certainly a bit biased, but don’t you think she darling for only being 3 weeks old? She’s already smiling involuntarily!]

Last time I had dinner here was 7 years ago, but it was every bit as good as I remember!

What are your favorite things to do when you finally have a few days to breath?
