The only thing better than thrift shopping is thrift shopping from the comfort of your couch! I’m here again today to talk about the fabulous deals I’ve scored on ThredUp! I hope you love this ‘Chocolate Truffle’ inspired look comprised of blush, brunette and cream pieces.
All of these items are my sizes (I don’t typically even bother looking at pieces that aren’t my size unless I’m shopping for someone else) so I can only imagine what kind of discounted goodness awaits in the other size categories! All of these pieces were pulled from the Premium section (luxury, high-end, designer clothes in the best condition or new, with the tags still on). This outfit alone is over 60% off retail and includes pieces by Marc by Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Burberry, Rebecca Taylor, Prada and Rag & Bone! Because there is SO MUCH amazing stuff on ThredUp at any given moment I try to stay focused by searching every other day for an item I’m looking for. Like, for example a Chanel bag. I’ll search “CHANEL” and just take a quick look at anything that’s available, then click off the site if I can’t find what I want! There’s no use pointlessly torturing myself if I find something not within my current budget, then having to talk myself out of being okay with eating Ramen noodles for the next month! (I’m looking at you, Oscar De La Renta pumps!)
I used code “CHILL20” last week on ThredUp and got 20% my entire purchase. I know there’s also a 15% off code available when you sign up for their newsletter and we both get $10 off our next purchase if you use THIS link (you’ll also get exclusive discount codes alerts and flash sales on types of clothing or designers!). My last week’s scores were a wool cardigan by Basler $85 (retail $428 – similar here) and a Birds of Paradise by Trovata button down blouse for $38 (retail $161 – similar here).
My goal with round-up posts like this is to show you how I manage to have so many designer pieces and still afford to eat/pay rent haha! My point is that YOU TOO can dress like a CEO without the matching salary! Dress for the job/life you want, right? We’ll all get there one day with the right mindset!
