Do you ever get so inspired by something you end up obsessing over it until it affects everything you do?! This is how I feel about the Marc Jacobs Fragrance, Divine Decadence! I was first introduced to this scent through Influenster and was immediately enthralled. Besides being enamored with the fragrance itself, I had to get my hands on this uniquely beautiful bottle. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times; Presentation is everything, and I’m buying what Divine Decadence is selling with their presentation! #takemymoney

I’ve been so inspired by this fragrance that I noticed my style earlier this week taking on a similar vibe… Out came my vintage Chanel, hunter green cashmere beret that I have not worn in 4 years, out came the dramatic fur, out came the nude-underlay lace dress, the dramatic shoes, and my best jewelry… Who can be mad at something that inspires them to be brave enough to style a beret in Nashville?! I was so pleased with this look in general that I had to snap some photos for my own personal collection! I always take photos of my best looks to refer to later when I’m feeling uninspired by what’s in my wardrobe! Anyone else do this, or is it just me and Cher Horowitz?

UPDATED:

Note about these eye lashes: I was missing my extensions so much that I was desperate to find a less expensive alternative that didn’t involve gluing them on every day. I stumbled across magnetic lashes in my quest and tested out various styles until I landed on THESE from Amazon for $7/pair. They will last a few months if you are gentle and clean them every couple weeks by soaking in oil-free makeup remover for a few minutes. Everyone I talked to thought I’d gotten the extensions back in and they are so ridiculously easy to wear, it’s not even funny!

Note about the fit of my dress: It only comes in Plus Sizes. I’m wearing a 14W (the smallest size available) which fits like a straight size 10. I had it tailored in to fit better (I’m a size 6-8). Also, the image shows this dress has a black lining but it’s actually champagne/tan, as you see in my photos. Personally, I like the tan better, but just FYI when you’re ordering!

Note on this rug (because I’ve already gotten a few questions about it since publishing this article!): It is from Overstock.com by Safavieh and is still available in all sizes as of right now. I have the 9′ x 12′ size in my living room and you can see how it looks HERE.

Love the look! My goal is to find a snakeskin purse in the exact green of the perfume bottle. I don’t take photos of my outfits, but I do keep notes. So maybe I’m just half a Cher H : ).

I’m a sucker for a pretty perfume bottle for sure. Random question: love the rug in some of the pics! Where is it from?

Hello! Yes, I am obsessed with the rug! Snagged it on Overstock.com last year! It’s still available in several sizes on their site here –> http://rstyle.me/n/cu726jb86w7
