Formal Fall Color Palette

Almost every season I go through phases where I lean toward specific color combos… So far this year for casual outfits I’ve done a lot of neutral, nature inspired patterns and textures like navy, leopard and black, furs, wools and knits. However, my formal wear palette is leaning a little towards what I call Upper East Side. I can totally see Blair Waldorf wearing both of these combinations to a gallery opening for Dan’s Dad or scheming a double cross with Chuck. What do you think?
