It’s freebie #DressYourTech time again! My cousin-in-law, @danidee44, posted THIS quote on Instagram recently that inspired the first wallpaper you’ll see below… it’s a little reminder to love yourself enough to be whatever you want, every day, even if it changes day to day, even if it scares you.
This second pretty little wallpaper is, of course, Southern inspired! (big surprise, right?!) I think it’s high time we took back this phrase “Bless Your Heart,” and made it sweet again, don’t you agree?
I hope you enjoyed today’s freebies! Which is your favorite?
I was totally floored to find out y’all liked my “Don’t Kill My Vibe” wallpaper so much in 2016 that you re-pinned it (As well as shared, Tweeted and Instagrammed it!) well over ONE MILLION times!!! Thank you so much for the love! Freebie wallpapers are one of my favorite things to make and seeing my creations appreciate to that level reminds me I’m not just blogging to outer space! Ya’ll are seriously the BEST!!!
In keeping with the Kitschy theme this season on the blog I created two Beverly Hills Hotel / Dorothy Draperinspired tech wallpapers to help us all ring in 2017! Who else believes this year will be amazing!? We have so much to work on as human beings, but we need to remember how far we’ve come and take a moment to stop and smell the roses.
Long press (from your device) or right click (from your computer) on either wallpaper to save and enjoy!
Which wallpaper do you want to use first?! I have the tigers on my screen right now but I think I’ll switch to the zebras next week! I can’t decide which I like better! 🙂
Early Christmas gifts are the BEST! Today’s free download is my early gift to YOU! For all my makers, graphic designers, bloggers, small business owners, etc., you may use these stock images any way you please except selling the image in it’s original form. When I offer something for FREE it ruins the spirit of the gift if it doesn’t remain so! Click the “read more” button or scroll to the end for the full resolution download link!
I included a little color guide for you on the example image above if you want to add matching text to your stock image 🙂
You probably recognize the image below from THIS blog photo shoot last month! While I was prepping my new line of bridal themed tees and totes I took a photo with only the props to make into a stock photo because this little vignette was just too pretty not to share as a FREE download for the blog!
As with all freebies on this blog you may use as long as you do not claim ownership of my work and are not using it to make a profit, eg. printing the image out and selling it as artwork, printing the image onto a shirt, bag or phone case to sell, or using it in an Etsy shop, or other online boutique to sell an item, or the like. You’re free to use the image and layer text over it to post on social media or your blog or website 🙂 (if you have any questions just e-mail me!) Enjoy!
You’re invited to dinner, betch. You better not be late.
Glad you could make it. But was it really ever up to you?
Now that you’re here we’ll start off with some Rosé.
It may look pretty now…
But we can’t guarantee it won’t be covered in blood…
…by the time dinner is over.
Eat up. There’s a lot more where that came from.
We’ll be serving Prune-X for dessert because you’re fat now… But somebody had to eat that betch. And you’re not leaving… until that entire bottle is empty.
Okay THAT was intense!!! Can you imagine being invited to a dinner party thrown by KKT?! We can — and this was our vision come to life! Ali Weber (of Oh La La Ali blog) and I collaborated to create the perfect Scream Queens Season 2 Virtual Premier Party! And YOU’RE invited! We’ll be live Snapping, Instagramming and Tweeting the premiere, so tune into social media September 20th at 9:00pm ET/PT to follow along and see our take on what happens!
Ali made that incredible chopped up, bloody “hand” in the fingerless glove, and it’s totally edible! Hop on over to her blog to learn how so you can plan your own Tuesday night party with this delicious treat! Make sure to invite your gal pals over for some bloody cotton ball rosé! I purchased a bottle of our favorite rosé, removed the label, and created my own DIY Scream Queens inspired label to replace it (to get that pink foil effect on the label I printed the design with a toner printer and ran it through a Minc). Next I popped some edible cotton candy on top to represent the Chanel’s favorite food group (cotton balls!) and splattered with some edible “blood!”
For props I pulled from my personal collection of home decór items and clothing everything I could think of that the Chanels might have in the KKT house, like my favorite satin robe (seen HERE before), Victoria’s Secret Bustier (see HERE before) & sleep mask (seen HERE before). Since the new Scream Queens season is apparently “Hospital” themed we decided to fill a few fake “syringes” with random candy like rock crystal, cotton candy and gummy eyeballs! The Chanels aren’t the brightest group of girls when it comes to the proper usage of food so it’s not crazily far fetched to think they might attempt to inject sugar instead of ingesting it (I mean, don’t we all wish we could skip those calories?!). The final “Hospital” touch was a fake bottle of pills (red and white candies) with a very fake looking prescription label that we could totally imagine a Chanel trying to use to poison her enemies. We found all our supplies at Michael’s, Amazon, Party City, Kroger & Target.
