My love for statement earrings dates back to my 13th birthday when I was *finally* allowed to get my ears pierced! For the last 16 years, I’ve been adding to my ear bob collection and some of my favorite pieces are ones I designed or DIY-ed myself! After seeing THIS pair of earrings, I knew I had to attempt my own “inspired by” version to share with y’all! You can make these earrings with any color combination your heart desires and the best part is they pack a huge statement-making punch without hanging too heavily on your earlobes or your wallet! Y’all probably know by now I love a good deal! The only thing I love more than a good deal is sharing my finds with YOU!
I must admit I have a bit of a JustFab.com obsession. What they say on their TV commercials is true… the prices are good and the quality is better. If you’ve ever shopped at ZARA than you have something to compare JustFab to. The only thing about JF I have to be careful about is swooping in on their flash sales immediately upon getting a notification e-mail! Let me tell you, the cute stuff is always the first to go!
Bedazzling a button down is probably one of the easiest DIY updates you can do to a piece of clothing. Whether you choose to completely cover the collar in jewels, or simply sprinkle a few sparse sparkles, choosing the correct jewels, and applying them properly, is the secret to making this DIY look high-end and professional.
For this DIY you will need:
Hello, loves! I can’t count the number of times I’ve been tagged to do a #WIMB (what’s in my bag), #WIDN (what I’m doing now) or similar post and just didn’t have time at the moment to follow through! So many apologies and here’s an official peek into my disorganized hand bag at the moment!
This handbag is a little smaller than the ones I usually carry but it’s so chic and classic and I found it while vintage treasure hunting which makes it so interesting to me. I wish it could tell me the adventures it’s had.
Beauty touch-up essentials! You’ll always find hand lotion a fragrance spray and lipstick or gloss in my cosmetic bag! This silver zipper bag was a freebie with a Sephora order several months ago and is still one of my faves!Maybe I should clean out my currency collection! I usually cross a boarder once a week so sometimes having petty cash for parking expenses is useful!
Over the weekend I started using this sample of Benefit’s ‘They’re Real’ mascara because I was out of my favorite not expecting to like it at all — however I was amazed! This is the only non-L’Oreal mascara I’ve ever tried and actually liked!
I’m a cheap sunnies person — ask anyone who knows me! I’m constantly dropping them, losing them or scratching them so I don’t ever buy nice ones. This faux tortoise shell pair I found at Muller for $12 are so cute though that I have seriously been trying to keep up with them!
