Traveling is its own special kind of stressful mess. After 10 years of experience traveling solo, and navigated dozens of airports and modes of public transportation all over the world, I’ve learned to embrace the mess! Yes, embrace it, and even find a way to laugh at it! The memories I make while traveling shouldn’t be defined by the messes that inevitably must be dealt with on the journey! Ideally, travel is always glamorous, but with the amount of traveling most people engage in, it’s simply not feasible to expect everything to go smoothly! The one thing I can rely on though, no matter the mess, or the occasion, are Huggies® One & Done® Refreshing wipes! My mother used to say, “you can clean your whole house with a Huggies if you have to!” And she was right! Huggies One & Done wipes are a necessary part of my life (and I don’t even have kids – yet!) The amount of times I’ve used a Huggies wipe to clean something is probably in the thousands by now!
I’ve always been pretty lucky to have healthy lashes, but after having lash extensions for 9 months they just didn’t look as luscious as before! I loved having lash extensions, but they’re a lot of work to maintain and after a while it just didn’t feel worth it to me anymore. I’m horrible at applying false lashes though, and my last resort for having the voluminous, wispy, glamorous lashes of my dreams, was growing them myself! I employed the following three steps for growing out my lashes and am so happy with the results I had to share my secrets!
How does someone who doesn’t like colors other than black and white celebrate a hue saturated holiday like Easter? They DIY everything in black and white of course!
Being Catholic I love Easter; Couple that with my love of spray paint and you get my version of Easter gifts and décor! I took a plain bunny ears headband ($2) and a plastic bunny container ($2) from Walgreens and gave them a little makeover. Scroll down for instructional photos and a video tutorial 👯
I always *plan* to carve a real pumpkin every year but it never happens. If you’re like me, and you love Autumn decor, but you wish it sort of seamlessly looked amazing with the rest of your home, then this round-up is for you! My house is white, natural wood and gray, so every season it’s essentially a blank decorating slate. However, I hate spending time and money on something that’s only going to be out for 2 months, so I usually hit up the sale bin at Target & Michael’s to find the pumpkins no one wanted to cover them with spray paint and a few fun embellishments. It’s no mess, fun to do, and I don’t feel guilty about making a new one every year because they’re so inexpensive.

You’re invited to dinner, betch. You better not be late.
Glad you could make it. But was it really ever up to you?
Now that you’re here we’ll start off with some Rosé.
It may look pretty now…
But we can’t guarantee it won’t be covered in blood…
…by the time dinner is over.
Eat up. There’s a lot more where that came from.
We’ll be serving Prune-X for dessert because you’re fat now… But somebody had to eat that betch. And you’re not leaving… until that entire bottle is empty.
Okay THAT was intense!!! Can you imagine being invited to a dinner party thrown by KKT?! We can — and this was our vision come to life! Ali Weber (of Oh La La Ali blog) and I collaborated to create the perfect Scream Queens Season 2 Virtual Premier Party! And YOU’RE invited! We’ll be live Snapping, Instagramming and Tweeting the premiere, so tune into social media September 20th at 9:00pm ET/PT to follow along and see our take on what happens!
Ali made that incredible chopped up, bloody “hand” in the fingerless glove, and it’s totally edible! Hop on over to her blog to learn how so you can plan your own Tuesday night party with this delicious treat! Make sure to invite your gal pals over for some bloody cotton ball rosé! I purchased a bottle of our favorite rosé, removed the label, and created my own DIY Scream Queens inspired label to replace it (to get that pink foil effect on the label I printed the design with a toner printer and ran it through a Minc). Next I popped some edible cotton candy on top to represent the Chanel’s favorite food group (cotton balls!) and splattered with some edible “blood!”
For props I pulled from my personal collection of home decór items and clothing everything I could think of that the Chanels might have in the KKT house, like my favorite satin robe (seen HERE before), Victoria’s Secret Bustier (see HERE before) & sleep mask (seen HERE before). Since the new Scream Queens season is apparently “Hospital” themed we decided to fill a few fake “syringes” with random candy like rock crystal, cotton candy and gummy eyeballs! The Chanels aren’t the brightest group of girls when it comes to the proper usage of food so it’s not crazily far fetched to think they might attempt to inject sugar instead of ingesting it (I mean, don’t we all wish we could skip those calories?!). The final “Hospital” touch was a fake bottle of pills (red and white candies) with a very fake looking prescription label that we could totally imagine a Chanel trying to use to poison her enemies. We found all our supplies at Michael’s, Amazon, Party City, Kroger & Target.
